The DOUFO

DOUFO
Daves Out. Underground.
Freaking Out.

Richard wright was always pretty cool. Underrated perhaps for his contribution to Pink Floyd. I often enjoyed his vocals on early tracks like “summer 68” and “remember a day”…

In fact, his song “The Great Gig in the Sky” is actually my favorite song on the Dark Side of the Moon record…And the song rarely got any airplay… It amazed me when I read that the singer on that track was a white chick.

His tickling of the piano like he did was usually amusing to me on the records. Along with his innovative organ and synthesizer playing fully contributed to the overall Pink Floyd style.
Richard… RIP You will be missed…

I need to check out the stuff he was working on with David Gilmore during his end days.
